“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1).
If God’s Word is life, light, truth and God itself, then revelation knowledge and understanding of God’s Word is one of the utmost gift we can ever have from God. We need understanding of God’s Word to make sense of our life, the world we live in, everything in existence in the temporary visible world and in the invisible reality of life. God’s Word as life, light, truth and God itself is our only means of attaining freedom from death, darkness and from the entire wicked lies that has been masqueraded as truth to humans in our world by the father of lies Satan aka the devil (John 8:44).
Given the fact that God’s Word is our only means of securing our freedom from Satan’s world of lies, darkness, evil and wickedness, it is obvious to see why Satan’s number one objective throughout the ages of human existence has been mainly to do with the changing, manipulating, adding to and subtracting from God’s Word.
As Christians, it is important that we directly seek God to give us revelation and understanding of His Word and not just rely on our own understanding or the understanding of our fellow humans (Proverbs 3:5-6). If the Word of God is God in itself, then it means we can only have perfect understanding of God’s unchangeable Word through our one on one personal relationship with His Holy Spirit of life. To try and understand God’s Word outside of personal relationship with His Holy Spirit is to end up with the devil —the deceiver, liar and manipulator as the teacher. The only thing to gain from ending up with the devil as a teacher of the Word is confusion and in confusion, extreme hardness to the true meaning of Word of God.
God as Creator of all is Sovereign and His Word is the absolute authority power and dominion that is above all authority, power and dominion. God’s standards of life are all embodied in His Word of truth, life and authority. And we cannot say we are abiding by God’s Word or obedient to His Word of truth if all we are interested in doing is to keep justifying our carnal ways instead of succumbing to His Word and righteous standards of life. God’s Word is divine and His divine Word and righteousness standards remains forever the same. And it cannot be changed by our human self-righteousness and self-justifications carnal standards or compromised by any visible or invisible force or power to suit our carnal ways.
God as the Sovereign ruler and Creator of the universe is the only One we must serve and worship. And we will only be truly serving and worshipping God if we worship Him in spirit and truth (John 4:24). We will only be serving and worshipping God in spirit and truth and receive from Him His entire blessings when we are fully submissive and obedient to His absolute Word of truth. Obedience and submission to God is all about doing what He says is right and avoiding what He says is wrong. True worship and service to God therefore is not about doing what we think is best or right for us to do in our own eyes. It is all about serving and worshipping God in the exact manner and ways that He wants us to serve and worship Him in line with His own righteous standards.
If there is one thing we all need in this day and age like never before, it is Godly discernment, true knowledge and revelation understanding. It is essential that we earnestly seek God in all things for His understanding and revelation knowledge so that we do not end up perished (Hosea 4:6).
Satan the chief head of the wicked knows very well that the Word of God as the only truth is our only means of having complete freedom from his wicked cobweb of lies and evil bondage. And this is why he and his cohorts throughout the ages of existence have been busy with deceiving mankind to prevent and deny Man from the eternal rewards and benefits that comes with believing in God’s Word of truth and obeying it.
God’s Word of truth revealed is Christ Jesus. And outside of Christ as the whole truth, it is impossible for any man to have liberty and freedom from death, lies, darkness and from Satan claws the wicked and evil liar (John8:32). Christ as God’s Word of truth revealed is the only one that can set us free. Therefore if you choose this day to follow Christ, you are not by so doing simply choosing one religion over another religion of equal standing. You will indeed by so doing exercising your God given right to freedom from eternal death, hell fire, wickedness powers, Satan and his entire principalities forces of darkness through Christ Jesus God’s only Begotten Son—His Word of life, light, truth and love revealed to mankind (John 14:6).
John 1:12-14
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth”.
